A few things to know.

What should I have ready?

Take-home income, spending amounts and frequencies, each debt’s balance, annual interest rate and monthly payment, gross asset values, savings and retirement balances, and your goals. Enter debt payments once in the creditor list to avoid counting them again as expenses.

Does this save or send my information?

It keeps one active plan in this browser, unencrypted. It does not submit your information to WordPress, send email, or connect to a CRM. Export JSON before closing, using private browsing, or switching households. Keep exported files secure.

Can I compare a policy loan or HELOC?

Yes. Enter actual terms and select the debts you want to transfer. Borrowed balances remain liabilities, with interest and fees included. Policy loans can reduce benefits or cause lapse; a HELOC can put your home at risk and may have changing rates and payments. Confirm availability and contract terms before acting.

Are forecasts guaranteed?

No. Returns, inflation, spending changes, and withdrawal rates are adjustable assumptions. The calculator does not invent savings or assume borrowing creates wealth. It shows a simple projection, using monthly interest and a 600-month debt horizon; taxes and product-specific outcomes are not modeled. Calculation notes explain the methods.
